What a beautiful day it has been today! Tom has been a very happy, chatty little monkey and the sun has been shining, the perfect day. Today Tom and I went for a walk along the seafront, it was so nice listening to the stones and soaking up some sunshine.
When we got home we decided to play with some bubbles. I thought bubbles would be a good idea because it was so warm at the beach, I thought bubbles would be a nice way to cool off. Tom sat in his chair and I blew bubbles for him. Tom really enjoyed watching the bubbles fall in front of him.
As the bubbles burst hitting the skin they make a really nice sensation, a very sensory stimulating feel. The coolness of the bubbles bursting also seemed to really engage Tom.
The bubbles we use are from Amazon, they are 'Gazillion Bubbles' (see link below). These bubbles are really great because they reflect the sun so beautifully, you can see all of the different colours of the rainbow. As Tom sits in front of his big window the sun is able to reflect off the bubbles making them even more beautiful to watch. Gazillion bubbles also are tear free. Although with Tom we wouldn't let the bubbles go in his eyes, it is good piece of mind that if for any reason bubbles did get into his eyes it wouldn't sting or be dangerous. This means that gazillion bubbles would be good for people of all ages!
Today's blog is a little shorter than usual as Tom and I spent the day at the seaside but keep your eyes peeled for Fridays post...Tom is off to the theatre again!
