Merry Christmas!

It has been a while since Tom and I wrote a blog post. We have just been so busy with Christmas activities, birthdays and festivities. We have been soaking up every moment. We are ready to come back with a bang.

Over the month of December Tom has been enjoying the Pantomimes. He has seen Dick Whittington 4 times this month and will see it again in January to finish the Christmas season. Tom adores the Panto and each and every time we take him he just smiles and laughs the whole way through, as do we! Winchester Theatre always puts on the best Panto, they also have the most wonderful staff who endeavour to make each and every one of Tom's visit special.

Tom has been to see Santa a few times this year. He's been to Marwell at Christmas where Santa knew that dinosaurs were Tom's favourite thing at the moment and he gave Tom his very own orange Dinosaur. It really is true, Santa does know everything! This was a lot of fun, it was Alice in Wonderland themed and all of the staff put on a beautiful show.

Tom also saw Santa at Lapland UK. This place had a lot of faults when it comes to accessibility and diversity, however meeting Santa was magical. He was very kind to Tom, he was friendly and he spent a really lovely amount of time asking Tom all about himself, we also got to sing Jingle Bells with the big guy himself.

Tom went to Santa's Christmas Countdown. This was a touring show around the UK. This was very cute and Tom even managed to get on the stage. He was able to see all the behind the scenes secrets at the Royal Winchester Theatre. This place cannot get any better, in order for Tom to have the same experience as all of the other children on the day they went out of their way to take Tom backstage and get him onto the stage with Santa and the elves. Santa obviously knew Tom well by now due to amount of times he had seen him this month, he knew how good he had been and gave Tom 2 presents instead of just 1!

In between all of our Christmas outings Tom has been busy baking cakes, gingerbread men and houses, making beautiful Christmas crafts and watching lots of fun Christmas movies.

It is now officially Christmas holidays for Tom and there is no more school until January!

We can't wait to get back to blogging in 2020.

Tom and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and we hope you all have a wonderful New Year, see you in 2020!
