Silly String

Tom and I had a little party with silly string last week. We have recently been on the hunt for things we haven't done before, whilst in Hobbycraft we saw silly string so we decided to pick it up and give it a go.

When we got home Tom stood and we decided to give it a go. To begin with I wanted to spray some on Tom's tray and then we both explored it together. I wanted to do this so that Tom wouldn't be surprised as to what comes out of the can. It can be very frightening if I just sprayed Tom with something that he wasn't expecting. We explored the silly string together. It was really cold and left the hands a little wet so it was a great sensory experience.

Tom seemed to really enjoy the silly string on the tray so we decided to step it up a level and use the can to spray! This got messy. I was very worried about the cream carpet and the blue silly string but luckily the colour of the Hobbycraft silly string didn't run.

Tom found it very funny when I sprayed him with the silly string. The silly string came out with a lot of pressure so really tickled Tom's hands. It also made a really great spraying noise when it came out. It is a great activity for time when you haven't got a lot of time!

I was also very surprised at how easy it was to clean up! The silly string doesn't smudge or stick to anything. I just wiped Tom's hands after to remove and chemicals but other than a little wipe it was all so easy!

This is a great thing to have in your cupboard for when you are at a loose end, or have very little time!
